Hello, I’m Pam.

I started Palo Verde Therapy in Las Vegas, NV in 2001. I've been at this Auburn location since 2013.

I earned my Masters of Science degree in Counseling from the University of Nevada. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in both California (MFT #53098) and Nevada (MFT #0901). I also maintain a Drug and Alcohol Counselor License in Nevada (LADC#847-L)

Much of my career has been working with adults with addictions of various kinds, many of whom were mandated by a court or CPS to see me. Most of my clients cope additionally with intense emotional ups and downs, the unresolved effects of traumatic experiences, transition from prison, homelessness and/or inpatient treatment. Many of them also experience chronic mental illness.

Over an 11-year period in Las Vegas, Nevada, I worked as a therapist and drug & alcohol counselor in non-profit agency, managed care clinic and private practice settings. During that time I developed a research-based program for clients with multiple, long standing mood and addiction problems and a peer consultation and training program for therapists.
I was a frequent guest speaker at university classes, professional associations, and hospitals on the topic of using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) in the treatment of clients with multiple, complex problems.

I am a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), and the Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing International Association (EMDRIA). I am the Outreach Coordinator for the Trauma Recovery Network (TRN) through the EMDR International Association for our area. I also provide counseling to Veterans through the Give-an-Hour organization.

I look forward to speaking with you!
Yours truly,
Pam Shore, MFT

Hi, I’m Brandy.

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have spent the majority of my career working with people who are in relationships with addicts. I enjoy educating, and also modeling, how to set boundaries, resist enabling, and reduce co-dependent behavior. If we can change destructive behaviors for one person, we can actually positively impact the family system and the generations that follow. So powerful!

In 2015, I created the website, The Gift of Second (thegiftofsecond.com) for anyone impacted by a loved one’s suicide. The aim is to bring hope, encouragement, and connection to those devastated by this unique loss. In 2016, I released the book The Gift of Second: Healing from the Impact of Suicide, which has since been adopted nation-wide by several suicide loss support group organizations such as Survivors of Loved Ones to Suicide Inc. and Christian Survivors of Suicide Support Group. After being personally affected by suicide twice, my desire is to see fellow survivors of suicide-loss feel understood and validated. Healing begins when we recognize we are not alone.

I work with individuals, couples, and love to lead groups. I enjoy speaking to classes, grief groups, and anyone that will have me.

I look forward to the opportunity of working with you.

Sincerely,

Brandy Lidbeck, MFT
